Tonko Lonza

 

Nebojša GlogovacBorn in Zaton, near Dubrovnik in 1930. He has been engaged in professional acting since 1953. He has played around one hundred theatre roles and acted in a dozen films such as ''Journalist'' (1979) director: Fadil Hadžić and ''The Fall of Italy'' (1981) director: Lordan Zafranović, and he had his anthology role of Ignjat Glembay in the film "Glembays" (1988) director: Antun Vrdoljak. He has been lecturing at the Academy of Drama Art for over forty years. Tonko Lonza is a winner of numerous awards for acting as well as the award "Vladimir Nazor" for a lifetime achievement and Award of Croatian Theatre for a lifetime achievement.
